Maestro Wit is guest-conducting the Real Filharmonia de Galicia in Spain this month in concert at Auditorio de Galicia on 21^st of March. He will open the all-orchestral programme with Moniuszko Overture in honour of the Polish composer’s 200^th anniversary of birth and continue with Schubert Symphony No 3, concluding with Karłowicz’s mighty Symphony op. 7 “Re-birth”.

Antoni Wit returns to work with Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra  this week where he will conduct Japanese premier of Osaka-born contemporary composer Dai Fujikura. The new piece Solaris Suite will be performed in two concerts on February 22 and 23 at Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater, The Concert Hall. The programme will also feature Dvorak’s Violin Concerto with the acclaimed German soloist Veronika Eberle and Tchaikovsky Symphony No 5. For more details, see HERE

For his penultimate guest-conducting week with Orquesta de Navarra in Spain this season, Maestro Wit brings Bruckner Symphony No 5 which he will lead in two concerts at Baluarte on February 14^th and 15^th. For further details see here.

Maestro Wit  returns to his former orchestra National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice to conduct a special anniversary concert on 7 February. The concert programme linked to 110^th year since Karłowicz’s premature death in the Tatra mountains will feature his “Rebirth” Symphony. At the brand new NOSPR concert hall, Antoni Wit will be joined by the renowned Canadian pianist Louis Lortie performing Lutosławski’s Piano Concerto, which will mark the 25^th anniversary of the composer death. Wit recorded both works on Naxos Records as part of the complete works cycle by Lutosławski and Karłowicz.

Maestro Antoni Wit is back at Suntory Hall for the second time this year to lead the special concert with Beethoven Symphony No 9 and the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra on 14^th of December. Wit and the Orchestra will then take this programme to Sumida Triphony Hall on December 15^th and to Bunkamura Orchard Hall on December 16^th.

Maestro Antoni Wit is back in Spain this week conducting Beethoven Symphony No 9 on tour with the Orquestra de Cadaqués . Their three performances will take place at  Auditorio Madrid on November 20^th, Auditorio de Zaragoza  on November 21 and Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona on November 22^nd. On November 11^th Maestro Wit will make his debut with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra in all-Polish programme of Moniuszko, Karłowicz and Lutosławski. He will be joined by the award-winning young generation Polish violinist Agata Szymczewska in the Karłowicz Violin Concerto. The concert will take place at Bulgaria Hall in Sofia and will mark the 100^th Anniversary of Independent Poland. For more details see here.

Maestro Wit returns to the Orquesta Sinfonica de Navarra to conduct an all-Brahms programme in two concerts on 18th and 19th of October. He will lead Symphony No.4  as well as Concerto for Violin and Cello Op.102 with soloists Tianwa Yang and Gabriel Schwabe at Baluarte and Auditorium de Tudela.

Antoni Wit  will then travel to Malaga to work with the Orquesta Filarmonica de Malaga conducting Schubert Symphony No 3 as well as Symphony No 3 by Bruckner on 25^th and 26^th of October at Teatro Cervantes. For more details, please see here and here

Maestro Wit conducts a defiant Lutosławski Concerto for Orchestra on his return to Tampere Filharmonia  in their concert on 28 September at the magnificent Tampere Hall. Joined by the acclaimed Swedish pianist Peter Jablonski in Dohnanyi’s Variations on a Nursery Tune, Wit will fittingly open the programme with Mussorgsky Night on Bald Mountain.
